Subject: Participation in CeBIT 2015 from 5-7 May 2015 at Sydney, Australia
We are pleased to inform you that TEPC is participating and organizing in the CeBIT 2015 scheduled from 5-7 May 2015 at Sydney, Australia along with Indian exporters. The CeBIT 2015 exhibition allows the world’s leading companies to showcase their latest products and technologies to an industry that is experiencing rapid growth. With regional industry leaders in attendance, exhibitors are able to pursue new business opportunities while learning firsthand about new projects.
2. CeBIT is one of the important exhibitions in Australia. It is one of the emerging markets for the telecom companies. Over 20,000 people visit the CeBIT exhibition each year because they know that it’s one of the most productive ways to find the business technology that can make a real difference to their business. Over the last thirteen years CeBIT has helped thousands of businesses of all sizes and types to prosper. In a rapidly changing world the fast, the adaptable and the innovative survive and thrive.
With over 450 exhibitors, from startups to global companies, from Australia and around the world, showcase their innovations and technologies on the CeBIT Exhibition Show Floor, the largest technology exhibition in Australia.
3. The direct cost of participation in this event for any company would be Rs. 41,500/- per sqm and Rs. 12,000/- additional insurance fee per company. However, for TEPC members, under MDA scheme of Commerce, the approx. cost of stall is Rs.31,000/- per sqm for 1 side open stall and Rs. 32,000/- for two side open stall on first come basis. TEPC Admin fee Rs. 10,000/- and service tax will be charged along with that. TEPC will subsidies the space till 9 sqm and for more than 9 sqm, the company will have to pay the full rate. In addition, the participating companies will be further reimbursed Rs. 2, 00,000/- i.e. Rs. 1, 30,000/- for built up stall subject to maximum 60% of the stall cost paid, and economy excursion class airfare limited to Rs. 70,000/- as per MDA guidelines of Ministry of Commerce & Industries after the event and completing the necessary formalities. To get the reimbursement under the MDA scheme, the export FOB value of the company should be less than Rs. 30 crores in the preceding year and there should be some export in the previous year. [1AUD= Rs. 50 has been considered].
4. Kindly send us the participation confirmation with 50% of the payment in favour of Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council payable at New Delhi. Members are requested to please indicate the space requirement by 15th March 2015 so that further action can be taken up accordingly.
