Subject: Participation in AfricaCom 2015 from 17th -19th November 2015 at Cape Town, South Africa
We are pleased to inform you that TEPC is participating and organizing in the AfricaCom 2015 scheduled from 17th -19th November 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa along with Indian exporters to showcase their products, technology solutions and have business meeting with leading service providers and industries dealing in telecom equipment and services and also content providers in order to increase trade between India and Africa. This will be good opportunity for Indian companies to explore South African market for business. TEPC had participated in Africacom 2014 also and members had got a good response.
2. AfricaCom is the premier Pan-African communications event. For a decade, this event has comprised a high-level conference and co-located exhibition and year-on-year continues to be the best place to meet existing clients and build new contacts in the region. Mobile Service Providers / Operators, Portals, networking for all sectors including mobile, fixed, ISPs, WISPs, international, wholesale, satellite operators, technology vendors, through to regulators and government agencies are the target visitors. AfricaCom has delivered the best regarded and best attended show in Africa. AfricaCom 2015 is scheduled from 17th -19th November 2015 at Cape Town in South Africa.
3. The direct cost of participation is Rs. 93,000/- per sqm against which TEPC will charge Rs. 58,000/- only for the space till 6 sqm and for more than 6 sqm the company will have to pay the full rate. There will be Rs. 10,000/- as administrative cost. The participating companies will be reimbursed Rs. 2, 00,000/- i.e. Rs. 1, 30,000/- for built up stall subject to maximum 60% of the stall cost paid and economy excursion class airfare limited to Rs. 70,000/- as per MDA guidelines of Ministry of Commerce & Industries after the event and completing the necessary formalities. To get the reimbursement under the MDA scheme the export FOB value of the company should be less than Rs. 30 crores in the preceding year.
4. Kindly send us the participation confirmation with 50% of the payment in favour of Telecom Equipment & Services Export Promotion Council payable at New Delhi by 1st June 2015 so that further action can be taken up accordingly.
