To reiterate the relationship and commitment between India, Ghana and other African countries, Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) with support of Ministry of
Communications, Government of India organised the ‘India Africa ICT Expo’ on September 14-15, 2022 at Accra, Ghana. The event brought together over forty-five ICT companies from India and
Ghana. The expo attracted over 500+ business visitors.
In recent decades, India’s engagement with Africa has deepened considerably. This may be due to the positive transformation in Africa. A large number of African countries are growing at a faster
pace. Africa is a continent of growth and opportunities. India is also helping the African countries to bridge the digital divide. The African continent has a varied and largely untapped scope for
multilateral business opportunities. This untapped potential is important for India as it seeks to forge stronger trade ties with the region. Similarly, Africa is keen to build up its business relations with
India Africa ICT Expo & Conference resulted in building and solidifying partnership between India, Ghana and other African countries in ICT & related sectors as India can share vast experience in
building telecommunication & IT infrastructure, fibre and wireless networks, broadband connectivity solutions, ICT software and applications applicable for licensed service providers,
private and government networks, secured networks, green telecom solutions, disaster management, M2M, Smart city solutions and much more.
