Under the ambit of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) of Government of India, Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) has been set up by the Government of India to promote and develop export of Telecom Equipment and Services.
As telecom networks can pose national & personal security threats, the telecom is a strategic sector; therefore, the source of the telecom equipment & services have to be most trusted. The Bhartiya telecom equipment are secured, trusted and at the same time state of the art.

Creating policy framework for the growth of the telecom & IT industry is a key priority for TEPC. The council works closely with the government on making policies by providing suggestions, inputs from industry members, and also spreads awareness amongst members about any policy changes and its impact.
TEPC organizes as well as participates in trade shows, seminars in developing and some developed countries to provide platform to the exporter members to showcase their products & services
